Confluence Cloud Content Types

Following Content Types are synchronized by the Connector:

Space

The topmost hierarchy level for organizing content in Confluence Cloud. Rendered in Confluence as their root/home page.

Page

Hierarchically ordered web pages.

Blog post

Flat stream of chronologically ordered web pages.

Folder

Folders do not contain any content but can be used to restrict content access hierarchically

Files that are attached to pages and blog posts.

Comments are currently not supported by the connector and will not be crawled. Only attachments, that are attached to pages or blog posts are included in the synchronisation.

Other item types like whiteboards, smart links and databases are not supported. Jobs for pages, attachments and folders might fail, if the connector attempts to resolve a hierarchy that includes unsupported types.

Metadata Fields

The following Metadata Fields are synchronized by the Connector, and can be used in the Search Engine schema. The value assigned to the field will depend on the Content Type:
